Marc L. Curtland, CPA, President
Marc was raised on a farm in Angola, Indiana (NE corner of the state) where he followed his older brother to Purdue University. It did not take long to decide that accountants were outnumbered by engineers and agricultural students. Indiana University became my destiny.
After working for a regional CPA firm in Indianapolis for over ten years, I decided to venture out on my own. Dedicated to becoming a business owner, my wife Mary of over 30 years, found a way to work full-time for a flooring company and raise our two sons; Alexander – an Indiana University undergraduate and Syracuse University law graduate and Mitchell an Indiana University undergraduate and CPA in the public sector.
Dennie K. Walters
After nearly 20 years of service at Curtland & Company, PC, Dennie K. Walters has decided to join her husband, Ken in retirement. She did turn-in her three year notice because like any client or employee knows, she is irreplaceable.
Ms. Walters was hired from Daniel Crowder in November 1998 with the hope she could help transition from Dan’s practice to my practice. It is has proven to be the single most important decision I have ever made in my business career. A wonderful, dedicated and knowledgeable employee, but a more amazing person.
